Confidence and Skills for Life

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, or BJJ, is a martial art based on grappling and ground fighting focusing on the skill of controlling an opponent through techniques that force one to submit. The “gentle art” allows a weaker person to use leverage and submissions to defend themselves. With origins in Judo and Japanese Jujutsu, BJJ is one of the most effective self defense fighting systems on the planet. Virtually anyone of any size, age, or sex can learn Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. In addition to the benefit of self-defense, BJJ sharpens the mind, builds character, and promotes continuous self improvement. It’s also a great workout!
